We continue our “Unsigned Senior Spotlight Series” with Kimball HS 6’5 F Trae Clayton.

Trae Clayton has been one of the most consistently productive players on one of the most talented teams in the state this year. The 6’5 mismatch forward has really improved his three point shooting while still being a force scoring in the paint and on the glass.

Clayton is a big time athlete that excels in transition and can make the three off the catch. He is very effective in the midrange as a scorer because of his ability to bully smaller defenders and create off the dribble against bigger defenders.

Clayton is coming off a huge weekend at the Montverde Classic where he averaged over 20 points per game against stiff competition that included Montverde, Luhi and American Fork. Trae is averaging 19 points and 9 rebounds per game through the first half of the season.
