The Next Wave C/O 2022-2023 gave us a real look at some of the top prospects in the region. Here are the top performers from the camp.

2022 Beaumont United HS 6'5 wing Terrance Arceneaux

Terrance displayed ALL of the tools necessary to be one of the top wing players in his class one day. He is a monster in transition right now and showed the ability to make jumpers. As an athlete he was second to nobody at the camp. He is oozing with potential, Terrance has some work to do but with time and grind he can get there. Top 30 Game Selection.

2022 Faith Family Academy 6'7 wing Jordan Walsh

Jordan has a special blend of tools at his disposal. He is tough, talented and athletic. Those three attributes give this young man a chance to make some money with this game one day. From a prospect standpoint he was one of the top 5 players in attendance. He has added some to his skill package as far as his ball handling as well. Has a chance to be DIFFERENT! Top 30 Game Selection.

2022 Coppell 6'6 Wing Ryan Agarwal

Every time Ryan shot the basketball we thought it was going in. It's easy to always talk about his shooting as that is what he does best right now. He is an above average athlete that can really pass the ball as well. Top 30 Game Selection.

2022 Faith Family Academy 6'5 F Trae Clayton

Trae is PRODUCTIVE. He impacts winning as much as anybody in that class. He played above the rim on offense and defense and showed the ability to step out and make the three ball. He is automatic in the midrange and a matchup problem for both three's and four's. Top 30 Game Selection.

2022 Duncanville HS 5'10 G Braylon Crosby

Braylon played very well at The Next Wave. He scored from all three levels, touched paint whenever he wanted to and did a very good job defensively. He has a tight handle and can really shoot the basketball. He can make plays for himself and also shows the ability to make plays for others. Top 30 Game Selection.

2022 Richland HS 6'4 wing Jourdyn Granberry

Jourdan showed up as a walk-in at the camp, by the time he played his first game everybody kept asking, "Who is that?" He wasted no time showing off his athleticism. He played above the rim and played as hard as anybody. He has long arms and moves great laterally which makes him a plus defender as well. I hadn't seen him before the camp and I was glad he showed up. Upside here. Top 30 Game Selection.

2022 Concordia Lutheran 6'10 C Adam Stewart

Adam played phenomenal at The Next Wave. He is a true big who can score around the basket and rebound. He showed improved athleticism and played with a motor. He doesn't try to do anything he can't do and focuses on his strengths. Bigs normally get better late and I won't bet against that with Adam.

2022 North Dallas Adventist Academy 6'10 C Lee Dort

Lee is pretty much impossible to guard by his peers at this stage. There was NOTHING anybody could do with him at The Next Wave. He scores at will with his back to the basket with finesse and strength. He dunks everything he can, showed he is an ELITE rim protector and rebounder. Has a legit chance to be Top 25 in the country at some point. Top 30 Game Selection.

2022 St. Mark's 6'8 F Colin Smith

Colin proved to be a monster in transition at the camp getting out and finishing above the rim. He rebounded well, made shots and blocked shots. Colin has a chance to be a very good and versatile defender in time as well.

2022 Crawford HS 6'8 C David Reid

David played with toughness all day long. He knows who he is and excels at it. He scored well around the rim and showed the ability o pass to open guys and set hard screens. Top 60 Game Selection.

2022 Eaton HS 6'2 G Jakob Zenon

Jakob does a lot of things well. He rebounds, guards, makes shots and he finishes at the rim. He is a big time glue guy who can run off 20 points in a game if you are not accounting for him. This one is going a bit under the radar right now but he has all the makings of a D1 prospect as he continues to grow and expand his game. Top 30 Game Selection.

2022 Dallas Epsicopal 6'4 G Cooper Macaulay

Cooper is a shooter, a very good one. He knocked down shots at every opportunity at The Next Wave. He has nice size as a sophomore and a shooting touch that projects to the next level. Top 60 Game Selection.

2022 Faith Family Academy 6'6 PF Brandon Walker

Brandon was arguably the most consistent player at The Next Wave. He blocked shots, rebounded everything and scored. His ability to step out and consistently make three's makes him an intriguing prospect. He is young for his grade and shows all of the attributes you look for in a young big. He is going to be really good over the next three years. Top 30 Game Selection.

2023 Prosper HS 6'0 G Addison Harmon

Addison showed he can make shots and handle the ball. He was solid during the camp and has a nice stroke from three. One of the top 2023's in the DFW.

2023 Birdville HS 6'2 G Gherig Normand

Gherig is a knock down shooter. He has a great size for his position and looks like he'll continue to grow as he has long arms and legs at this point. He can create some for himself as well. Top 60 Game Selection.

2022 Woodlands Christian 6'5 F Chanse Perkins

Chanse played with his motor running the entire camp. He's unselfish and makes winning plays. Excellent slasher.

2022 Aledo HS 6'4 G Daniel Sohn

If we had an award for the player that played the hardest it would've went to Daniel Sohn. He was all over the place creating second chance points for his team, not to mention the scoring opportunities he created for himself. Top 60 Game Selection.

2023 Rudder 6'3 G Dylan Glover

Dylan played well beyond his years at The Next Wave. The freshman has a good body already and a versatile game. He is definitely a prospect to watch in the 2023 class moving forward.

2022 All Saints Episcopal 6'6 F Joe Pebley

Joe is a tough competitor who shows nice touch around the rim.

2023 Frisco HS 6'7 F Mason Wujeck

Mason shows real promise as a young big man. He moves very well and can score around the basket. He was one of the best freshman bigs at the camp. Top 60 Game Selection.

2022 Keller Timbercreek HS 6'1 G Mason Jones

Mason showed to be an efficient and effective scorer of the basketball at The Next Wave. He is smart with the basketball and really plays with good pace. He can score and also make plays for others.

2022 Flower Mound Marcus HS 6'5 G Luke Smith

Luke is going to be very good. Excellent size at 6'5 with deep range as a shooter. He makes shots, fights for rebounds and showed he could handle the ball as well. He can end up as one of the top wings in the DFW in his class before it's all said and done. Top 60 Game Selection.

2023 iSchool Entrepreneurial Academy 6'8 F Matt Reed

Matt Reed is going to have a chance to be the #1 player in Texas in the 2023 class. He scores over both shoulders, is a legit 6'8 and plays with toughness. As he continues to slim down and get more athletic he looks to be a real problem for opponents for the next four years. Top 30 Game Selection.

2023 Duncanville HS 6'7 F Ronald Holland II

Ronald Holland is different. He is another 2023 that will definitely be in play for that #1 spot in Texas in the 2023 class. He rebounds, defends, plays with a motor and he is a very good athlete. He will be a key piece in Duncanville's run for another state title. Top 30 Game selection.

2022 Flower Mound Marcus HS 6'5 F Zane Hicke

Zane is the ultimate competitor and does any and everything to help his team win games. He rebounded, scored and guarded like a mad man at The Next Wave. Top 30 Game Selection.

2022 Dallas Episcopal 6'2 G Colby Henderson

Colby is a very effective lead guard that can really see the floor. He plays with pace and is always looking to set up teammates. He possesses good size for the point guard spot and will only get better in time. Excellent bloodlines with this one as well.

2022 Argyle 6'3 G Eli Valentino

Eli is a versatile player that is all about winning. He makes shots, plays defense and he's very unselfish. A lot of the things he does won't always show up in the box score but they will show up in the win column. Top 60 Game Selection.

2022 University HS 6'3 G David McKnight

David is electric. He made the trip up from Waco and wasted no time asserting himself offensively and defensively. He plays tough and physical and will dunk everything in transition. Top 60 Game Selection.

2023 University HS 5'10 G Bobby Montgomery

Bobby has some real tools and they were all on display at The Next Wave. He has great body control and finishes well around the basket. He really gets down hill quickly on drives and doesn't need a ball screen to get into the paint. Top 60 Game Selection.
