2020 6'2 G Baylor Hebb has been one of the hottest recruits in the region the last few months picking up several offers. We got a chance to talk with him about his recruitment, his latest visit to GCU and what he's looking for in a program.

TheTB5Reports: " How was your visit to Grand Canyon this past weekend?"

Baylor Hebb: " The visit went really good. The people around the program are all about winning and taking the next step to make the NCAA Tournament."

TheTB5Reports: "How did you enjoy the atmosphere on campus?"

Baylor Hebb: " The atmosphere at GCU is one of a kind. The students are heavily involved in athletics and sell out every basketball game. This makes GCU one of the most highly regarded student sections in college basketball."

TheTB5Reports: " What are some of the attributes you're looking for in a basketball program?"

Baylor Hebb: " The main things I'm looking for in a program is having a strong relationship with the coaching staff and players, a staff that develops their players from day one and a school with a strong culture of winning."

TheTB5Reports: " Tell me a little bit about the coaching staff at GCU and your relationship with them. How do you see yourself fitting in from a basketball perspective?"

Baylor Hebb: " I really enjoyed meeting all of the coaches. It was good to finally get to sit down and talk with Coach (Patrick) Chew because he has been the one primarily recruiting me since April. It was great to meet Coach (Dan) Majerle because I had only talked to him a few times before the visit. Coach Majerle is really good at getting his players in the right places to score and perform. I think coach will put me in different sets and motions to allow me to create for myself and others."

TheTB5Reports: " What visits do you have planned in the near future?"

Baylor Hebb: " I have a visit to Loyola Chicago this upcoming weekend and the University of Colorado the following weekend. I'm waiting to plan my last visit after I get back from the Colorado visit."

Baylor has already taken an official visit to Bucknell in addition to GCU and the ones he has scheduled for the next two weekends. I get the sense that Baylor won't wait long and is a strong candidate to commit before the early signing period.
