Day 1 of the Mavs Fall Classic provided me with the opportunity to see some prospects I haven't seen before along with the big names. It was a great first day filled with some really good matchups and some big time talent.

2021  Plano John Paul II Jalon Tyson

Jalon had one of the top performances of the early season finishing with 26 points and 7 rebounds yesterday in a route of Desoto. He knocked down a few triples and showed his athleticism finishing above the rim. He is emerging as one of the better prospects in the city.

2022 Plano John Paul II 6'9 F Cameron Corhen

Cameron was a great find for me yesterday. I saw the baby faced big man walk into the gym on my way out and immediately turned around to watch him play. He moves well, can pass, score around the basket and rebound. Definitely has a chance to be one of the better 2022 prospects in a loaded Texas class.

2020 Plano John Paul II 6'0 Jalen Tot

Jalen was the straw that stirred the drink in the win for JPII yesterday. He facilitated, played excellent defense and knocked down several three's in the process.

2021 Carter 5'10 G Hamilton Hamm

Hamilton was locked in offensively and defensively in a win over Bishop Lynch. He caused havoc defensively and scored 17 points in the win.

2021 Carter 6'8 F Addarin Scott

Scott is a big bodied post player who doesn't mind getting tough buckets and rebounds. He made a few jump hooks and did a solid job of rebounding and protecting the rim.

2020 Carter 6'4 G Jalen Williams

Jalen didn't shoot it as well as he normally does but he played a very nice all-around game. He finished with 9 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists in the win. He is one of the city's top unsigned seniors.

2022 Woodrow Wilson 6'10 C Ndonwanne Okafor

Okafor showed nice touch and footwork in the game yesterday. He knocked down a few mid range jumpers and rebounded. He's a bit raw but the physical attributes are all there.

2020 Woodrow Wilson 6'6 F Beau Becker

The pick and pop four man knocked down 4 triples yesterday. He rebounded and finished around the rim. Could really help a D3 program.

2021 Frisco Memorial 6'4 Wing Shannon Lowery

Shannon got to the basket at will. He was a matchup problem driving against bigger players and using his strength against smaller players. He finished with 19 points in the win.

2022 Frisco Memorial 5'10 G Avery Jackson

Avery finished with 15 points knocking down five three-pointers in the win. He is tremendous shooting the ball off the catch.

2021 South Oak Cliff 6'3 G Antonio Patterson

Antonio is a big body guard with athleticism. He got to the rim at will, rebounded and finished above the rim. Nice looking prospect.

2020 St. Mark's 6'6 F Andrew Laczkowski

Andrew was on fire the first half knocking down 5 three's. He rebounded and made shots in the win over Southlake Carroll.

2021 St. Mark's 6'7 Wing Harrison Ingram

Harrison was his normal versatile self in the win. He scored on the block, rebounded and made nice passes to teammates.

2021 Waxahachie 6'4 G CJ Noland

CJ finished with 23 points and 8 rebounds in the win. He attacked the basket, knocked down three's and rebounded like a mad man. Noland is one of the top players in the 2021 class in the state.

2021 Waxahachie 6'4 G Jalen Lake

Jalen started out on fire with 17 points in the first half  knocking down shots from all over the floor. He finished 19 points in the win.

2022 Prestonwood 6'0 G Vincent Sigona

Sigona is a heady lead guard that plays with poise and toughness. Son of a coach you can tell he really understands the game and how to play.
