The third week of high school basketball was filled with big time Holiday Tournament performances. In this week's edition a sophomore makes a national statement, a 2021 prospect played so well he picked up an offer from Penny Hardaway and a 2020 unsigned senior went 12-12 from the field.

2022 Kimball 6'4 G Arterrio Morris

Arterrio might have made the biggest statement of any other prospect in the entire Thanksgiving Hoopfest. If you know what players were in attendance you understand how big of a statement that is. The 6'4 G scored 27 points in a duel with 6'3 G UNC signee Caleb Love. He scored at will, blocked shots, made the game easy for his teammates and tried to dunk on everybody in his way. He picked up an offer from Oregon over the weekend to go along with current offers from Kansas, TCU and SMU.

2020 Denton Guyer 6'5 F Amaechi Chukwu

Amaechi shot 12-12 from the field for 24 points in Denton Guyer's big win over Manor. The unsigned senior is a workhorse that plays hard and rebounds. He should definitely be a target for some D2 programs in the late signing period.

2021 St. Mark's 6'6 WF Harrison Ingram

Harrison might have had the most complete week of anybody. He led his team to a MAVS Fall Classic Championship while being named MVP of the event and had a great outting against Prolific Prep in the Hoopfest finishing with 22 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Those performances led to an offer from the Penny Hardaway led Memphis Tigers.

2021 Bishop Lynch 6'0 G Imo Essien

Imo was excellent in a win over Putnam City West at the Hoopfest. The heady PG finished with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists in the win. Essien picked up an offer from Stephen F. Austin after this weekend to go along with current offers from UIW and UNT.

2020 Mansfield Timberview 6'4 WF Joey Madimba

Joey did a bit of everything in a win over Putnam City West at the Hoopfest. The unsigned senior finished with 15 points, 14 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 blocks. Madimba is a physical specimen who has really developed into a solid three point shooter. His toughness and willingness to compete always stand out.
