Texas has seen some ELITE backcourt tandems in years past. Willowridge HS TJ Ford and Daniel Ewing may be the best in terms of recent history, Bracey Wright and Deron Williams at The Colony were very good as well.
Richardson high school has a pair of talented sophomore guards in 6'4 PG Cason Wallace and 6'5 SG Rylan Griffen that may be headed down that same path of HS and collegiate stardom. They are both supremely talented prospects who have been productive but they still have so much more room to grow as players and prospects. Their games compliment each other really well and they are both tough as nails.
Cason Wallace is the point guard that gets a lot of things done. He scores, rebounds, facilitates and has to be one of the top perimeter defenders in that class. A lot of versatility in his game and he's an excellent athlete. He holds current offers from Baylor and TCU and has several schools checking in on him.
Rylan Griffen is the attacker scoring from everywhere on the floor, getting into passing lanes, always putting pressure on the defense and finishing above the rim over anybody in his way. The long scoring guard holds offers from Texas A&M and SMU while several other HM schools are checking in on him.
I believe these two prospects are both Top 50 in the country type players if they continue to progress at the rate they have been. I watched them this past weekend and they have both made tremendous strides in their games since July. Any HM programs that are in Dallas looking for players needs to make this a mandatory stop along the way. Two very special prospects at Richardson High School.
