TCU signee PG Mike Miles has put together a phenomenal season to this point. He's been arguably the best player in the city helping lead the Lancaster Tigers to a #1 5A State Ranking along with an ESPN National #18 Ranking. I talked with him about what has led to his consistent play as well as his team's success.

TheTB5Reports: You guys finished the regular season as a Top 25 team in the country according to ESPN. What made you guys so successful this year?

Mike Miles: Our chemistry is undeniable.  We play together, we want to win so the entire team has bought in and does what it takes to WIN.

TheTB5Reports: You seem to be playing with a lot of confidence this season. Did signing early help you kind of just focus on your senior season?

Mike Miles: It really did. Recruiting can be stressful because you're so uncertain, once you have made your mind up there's nothing else left to focus on but your senior year goals.

TheTB5Reports: You’ve had a lot of success over the years, the only thing missing is a State Championship. What would winning that this year mean to you?

Mike Miles:  It would mean EVERYTHING.  The team being ranked is great but winning State is the ultimate goal.
