Lancaster 2021 6'1 G Wade Taylor IV is one of the most decorated players in the state. He hit the scene early as a freshman due to his consistent production and his ability to shine under the bright lights. We got a chance to sit down and talk about him his recruitment, his game and his goals for his senior year.

TheTB5Reports: Your state championship run was cut short due to COVID-19. How tough was it not being able to finish the mission?

Wade Taylor IV: Not being able to complete our mission of winning a State Championship was really heartbreaking. If you knew what we been through they you would know how much that meant to us. But GOD does everything for a reason so we just thank him for the amazing season we had!

TheTB5Reports: How's your recruitment going so far? Who have you been hearing from the most?

Wade Taylor IV: My recruitment has been very sold lately, new schools are reaching out contacting me everyday. I’m just staying humble about it all being blessed to be in this position. Texas A&M , Texas , SMU, Creighton, and IONA are recruiting me the hardest right now. I will continue to stay Hungry and Humble about it all!

TheTB5Reports: A lot of people know about you as a basketball player. What are some things you enjoy away from basketball?

Wade Taylor IV: Some things I enjoy away from basketball is most importantly spending time with my family. If you know me you know that family support is big in the Taylor household. Other than that probably just chilling hanging with my friends, and dancing.

TheTB5Reports: What is the most underrated part of your game?

Wade Taylor IV: I would say the most underrated part of my game is my passing ability. We all know I’m able to score, with me still being a point guard also, my court vision is always working.

TheTB5Reports: We may not have a summer this year due to COVID-19. What are some goals you have for HS basketball next season? Individual and team goals.

Wade Taylor IV: Some goals for HS next year will be to become a better leader for the team , achieve all my goals that I have planned and most importantly complete the job that me and my brothers were not able to   do! #WEBO
